  Los Angeles Convention Center

GOA- Its the legendary DJ. Yella. What's Up Man?

Yella- Oh, not too much.

GOA- First of all its good to see you.

Yella- Thanks.

GOA- I know you are now, in a different business, its longer N.W.A.,

its F.W.A. or Freaks With Attitudes.

Yella- HA HA!! Oh Yeah, oh yeah.

GOA- What movies do you have out?

Yella- I'm shooting with a new company, DARKSIDE.

I've got a new movie EYE CANDY, that just came out.

There's also WESTSIDE STORIES 1 & 2. I'm shooting number 3, tomorrow.

I've been in the (adult film) business for about 10 years.

I've made about 400 movies.

I do everything... Shooting them, editing them, all the pictures, everything.

GOA- You do it all?

Yella- Except FUCK.

GOA- So you don't do scenes with the girls?

Yella- No, I'm only behind the camera.

GOA- But you've gotta be honest. Tell us, have you ever...

Yella- Oh, I HAVE gotten mine.

GOA- What do you think of HIP-HOP, today?

Yella- Its a little crowded. There's a lot of groups.

The only ones making it are either the lucky ones, or the superstars.

When we were doing it. It wasn't that much competition.

That's why I like movies more than music,

because there's not that much competition.

Now, its just that everybody sounds the same.

Its alright, but not like our era. Its way different.

GOA- Do you keep in touch with any of the guys from N.W.A., Dr. Dre, MC Ren or Ice Cube?

Yella- Me and REN did a song for one of my movies called BANGIN IN LA.

I haven't talked to Dre in a couple of years.

Cube, the last time I saw him was a few years ago.

We did a photoshoot for THE SOURCE. Its rare that I talk to him.

GOA- So you're doing your own thing now.

Yella- Yeah, I just keep to myself.

I just mind my own business, You don't hear about me.

GOA- You keep to yourself and get the freaks?

Yella- Oh Yeah.
