Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz
GAO- They're here on election night. Its Lil Jon and the Eastside Boyz. They're here, the KINGS OF CRUNK, back in Los Angeles.
Lil Jon- Fuck Bush.
Bo- Fuck Bush.
Lil Jon- the word today is Fuck Bush. Big Sam- So I guess you can figure today is November 2, VOTE or DIE day. When they see this it'll be past election day. Lil Jon- Vote, Fuck Bush. Bo- Bush, You shitin me?
GAO- So what do you guys think is gonna happen?
BO- The world's gonna be fucked up, mutha fucka's are gonna go crazy because we're tired of that Bullshit. Lil Jon- And Bush is gonna go on vacation again. Big Sam- All I can say is, we're in LA. I hope y'all mutha fuckas start looting again. So I can get a wide screen TV.
GAO- Since I last saw you guys alot has happened. CRUNK has become a household word, its also a drink.
Big Sam- Its also a gas tank. (holding up a CRUNK gas tank).
Lil Jon- Yeah its a household name.
GAO- HIP-HOP from the south was already on the rise, but you made it official and have pushed it over. How does that feel?
BO- It feels good. Lil Jon- It feels great, we're just out here doing our job. Getting these clubs crunk and off the chain. Making them have a good time. Forget about all the bullshit in their life. Just release all the stress and tension.
Big Sam- Like he said that's our job. Our whole thing is to get the clubs crunk, get the hoods crunk and get the streets crunk. We don't worry about radio. We get the streets and it'll spill onto the radio. We're just trying to get the clubs crunk from the ATL all the way here to the West Coast.
BO- And you can't do that without CRUNK JUICE.
GAO- And what exactly is CRUNK JUICE?
Lil Jon- Crunk Juice is the album available in stores. Its also an energy drink. CRUNK is the energy drink. CRUNK JUICE is the mixture with liquor. |
BO- Fuck Bush
Big Sam- Damn, they're gonna send the Secret Service after us.
GAO- Yeah me too.

GAO- So to you, Lil Jon. Since Crunk has blown up. You are now one of
the top producers of the year. You've done hits with USHER and CIARA?
How did that happen?
Lil Jon- After GET LOW, I did the Young Bloods thing, Petey Pablo, we did Usher
and CIARA. The Usher thing set up the Ciara song. They had the same writers.
I'm a producer so I was just doing my regular job. Of all the records I had,
some of the songs became big hits. Oh yeah, there was also SALT SHAKER.
That's what I do. That's my job, to make beats. So we made it happen.
GAO- Are you credited with discovering CIARA?
Lil Jon- No, Jazzy Phe is the one who found her. I guess, I'm credited with
giving her a number one single and introducing her to the world.
GAO- And I think that's more important than just finding her.
Lil Jon- Ha.
GAO- I also wanna ask Bo and Big Sam, has Lil Jon changed? Are there
problems in the camp?
BO- No, No, No, we're like brothers. Anything that goes down, we're gonna
handle it like family. We might slap the hell out of one another, but we're
like family. So when he's doing big things, we're doing big things. That helps
the group and the name. We're like brothers.
Lil Jon- I don't have all this success with these records. I produce by myself.
That just carries to this new album. The first single is "WHAT U GONE DO" with
Lil Scrappy. The second single is, "ROLL CALL" with ICE CUBE and you know
just more hot shit from Lil Jon and the Eastside Boyz
GAO- Lil Scrappy, he's an artist you did discover. Is he on your label?
Lil Jon- Yeah, Lil Scrappy and Trilville, the album went gold. I appreciate everybody
who supported it. Another success in the clubs. His album is coming soon, Trilville's
album is coming soon. Oobie and Chyna White are coming soon. We also got E-40
down with the CLICK.
GAO- What about the Lil Scrappy video for "You Don't Want Problems". It was alot
like TRAINING DAY, you were Denzil Washington's character and it looked like fun.
How was it making that video in LA?
Lil Jon- We came up with the idea to do the TRAINING DAY thing, and we were like,
we can't do this in Atlanta. We gotta do this in LA, in the real hoods. We holla' d
at SNOOP to come do his part and make it authentic. I co-directed that with Gil Green.
We did a real hot video and it broke Scrappy. It made the record happen. That was
the video, we came up with an idea and made it happen.
GAO- You also have a porno. What's the name of that and how did that
come about?
BO- Well, the name is Lil Jon and the Eastside Boyz, AMERICAN SEX SERIES.
Big Sam- Volume One!
BO- BANG BANG BANG!!! Its got Big Sam on there slappin Ho's and everything.
Lil Jon- Its just some good fuckin, suckin, eatin pussy, and hangin out with us.
We're telling ho's what to do. Its one of the top selling porno's of the year on the
urban side.
GAO- What made you go in that direction?
Lil Jon- Some of my partners approached me with the idea, so we put up some bread and
shot it ourselves. We then got down with Christian Mann with Video Team.
So we came to LA and shot with INDIA and JADA and Wesley Pipes.
GAO- Will there be any other adult ventures?
Bo- We got volume 2 coming.
Big Sam- Yeah in Volume 2, I'm in a 2 or 3 scenes. I have my face blurred.
Lil Jon- Yeah I came up with a new game for the Olympics, its called "4 Hand SKEET".
We draw a bullseye on a bitch's forehead and see who can get the closest.
We're gonna have the SKEET Olympics.
BIG SAM- And its gonna come to you in SKEETER VISION.
GAO- So what about the album Crunk Juice. What's the vibe of the album?
Is it gonna be like THE KINGS OF CRUNK album?
Lil Jon- Its gonna be like the KINGS OF CRUNK to another level.
We stepped up the production again. I didn't do all the beats. We've got RICK RUBIN,
PHARRELL, Lil Jay, Young Snipe. We've got guest appearances from R. Kelly, USHER,
Ludacris, Jadakiss, TI, Bun-B, Snoop, Eightball and MJG. Its just OFF THE CHAIN.
GAO- Now out of all those names mentioned, RICK RUBIN stands out.
How did you meet him?
Lil Jon- I met him at a Chris Rock Show.
Big Sam- Tell the truth, they met at the Piccadilly!
Lil Jon- HA HA! No, my homeboy, Christian Mann from Video Team introduced us. I met Rick
backstage in Chris's dressing room. Me, Ric and Flea were talking and I told him
I grew up as a fan of his music. Then he was like, "I'm a fan of your music". He said how
much he loved "THE KINGS OF CRUNK" album. We were both like, "we should do some music".
So we exchanged information and we came to LA, to make it happen.
GAO- Did you say "FLEA"?
Lil Jon- Yeah, Flea from "THE RED HOT CHILE PEPPERS".
BO- So for people out there, pick up the CRUNK JUICE album.
See what he's talking about. Lil Jon and the Eastside Boyz with Rick Rubin.
GAO- Also to you BO. In the past I'd work with Lil Jon and Big Sam on the
road and you wouldn't be with them.
BO- Well I got child support problems, I'm trying to get my business straight.
BIG SAM- Tell em, you got court cases!
BO- Every time we come out with an album, they try to go up on the price.
GAO- Well thanks for coming to GOING ALL OUT.
BIG SAM- Bush, since you won, WHAT YOU GONE DO?
